Beware!

21 July 2009
New Hack on the Block
"Millions of girls would hack for Mary-Kate Real Celeb". Today this sentence reached new heights when the picture below started circulating around Stardoll blogs:

"Hello, Dear Friend! If you want MKA jacket for free go to this site: stardollreaders.tk and get it!" This was the message that lured hundeds of members to a scam. But how could they believe Stardoll would decide to give them the highly coveted, the jacket people would waste 3 gift codes to get, for free? Well, just take a look at the picture below:
Pretty convincing, huh? It looks like the real Stardoll, with ads included. However, there are some details that show this is a fake: 30 March 2009

New co.nr Hacking Site
05 March 2009
OH NO!
I just got this request today! Of course, if you didn't read my last posts, it's the "hacking request".
But, how come did I get this request? I've been Superstar, but I'm not anymore. I don't have that much of rares (the ones that I got were re-released or very recent). I just got the orange DKNY, not the holiday or 1st one. So, why did I get this request?
The only thing that comes into my mind is that, after selling a rare or scamming someone for a SS code, the hackers get into my account, put the code, and sell the rares to themselves, maybe to sell them again for $60, or a code, and the whole cycle repeats.
So, no one is safe. Sure, the hacking accounts are easy to identify now (girl'sname_4randomnumbers, favorite celebrity Aaliyah, Celebrity look-a-like Alicia Keys, and they all have the same me-doll and clothes), but, what to the accounts that accepted them before all this hacking madness happened?
What happened to the old Stardoll, where Elites were superior, there was gossip every week, and there were nice clothes? Now Stardoll's most-known users are leaving, such as Steelone, springate, Style_Magazine and maybe writemarycat. Gossip is slow, the clothes are re-releases or superstar only and the themes are weirder and weirder.
Eh, Eh, there's nothing else I can say about this. Just give us your opinion at the comments, okay?

MORE Hacking Madness!
[Picture from Perez Hilton of Stardoll]
It seems that this accounts are the ones that, after you accept them, can see your password. Of course, they're not the real hackers. Stardoll blogs are full of gossip, and the latest ones claims that the hackers call themselves "The Italian Mafia". It might look stupid, but in fact, it's dangerous.
It all starts with the common requests: "Hi!! Love your medoll, it's so stylish", or "Friendss?", or "I saw a rumour about you on this site **, friends?". Don't accept them!!
The latest rumour is that they also download a trojan horse, although I'm not sure about it. But the basics are that well-known (for their rare items) accounts are being hacked out of nowhere, when their passwords were never known by other person, and very hard to guess. Despite of innumerous reports, Stardoll does absolutely nothing to the rumoured hackers: klifford.tiamo, sweetgirlicious, and Rachson. It's believed that they aren't the only ones who belong to that group.
Some accounts hacked were emorox4eva, jose_io and pretty_megan-9. It might look like pretty_megan-9's story was the most tragic of the bunch (sweetgirlicious became her best friend only to know her password and hack her), but in fact, emorox4eva's was worse: 15 pages of rares were sold, and the person who bought the most (and apparently it's the hacker) was klifford.tiamo. And, lastly, Rachson hacked jose_io.
Now, you must ask yourself, how can I avoid being hacked by The Italian Mafia? Here I'll give you some tips (I'm not sure, but the fact that being non-superstar may not stop the hackers - they can sell a rare for a code, can't they?):
- Change your password RIGHT NOW! Put numbers too, and try doing it with something that no one knows - if your presentation is full of "I love Beyonce!", it might not be that hard to guess.
- Delete all your cookies (Tools/Delete Browsing History/Delete Cookies). The downloaded file might follow cookies, so DELETE them!
- Check before accepting anyone. Now that is revealed that most of the "hacking accounts" have a random name followed by an underscore and 4 random numbers, I'm sure they'll stop hacking with those usernames. Visit their suite, if their account is too new, visited by no one etc, don't accept!
Most things are still a rumour, but as DanPuffs said, "it's better to be safe than sorry".

Warning: Hacking Friends
Many members with well-known DKNY/HB/Rares collections are suddenly being hacked, despite the fact that they never gave out their passwords. Why? How?
Apparently there's an account (if you know the name, contact me via comments), who requests people with rare clothes saying "'I love your suite, you are so stylish' or 'Please add me, I heard this rumor about you on this site: ***'". [UPDATE: Their request says: "Hiee! Lurvee your MeDoll... It's soo stylish :) Wanna be friends?"] When you accept the request, the hacker automatically sees your password.
You might ask yourself, how come this person can see my password through a friend request? It's simple: when you accept the request, Stardoll downloads a cookie/file that lets you chat with your new friend, storing your account information (aka password).
This hacker has hacked into the Stardoll files, so they can view your account's data when you accept their request.
So, do NOT ACCEPT any suspicious requests, check on the Stardoll Search if the username is mentioned as a hacker, etc.
If anything happens, contact Stardoll @ support@stardoll.com with your real e-mail and explain everything!

Be Careful: co.nr Sites
I found some co.nr sites that are easy to fall for:
1. teststardoll.co.nr
1. There is no flash!
2. The Log In box looks too diferent: it's bigger, it doesn't say "Nickname" and "****" like in normal Stardoll, instead of "Log In" it says "Send", there is no "Remember Me", nor a "Not a member? Join Here!".
Other reasons:
- There are Piczo Advertisements, that shouldn't show if it really was Stardoll.
- Websites like Stardoll never use Piczo. They pay for professional webdesign.
- When you click anything from "Your Stuff", "Shortcuts" and "Information", on the bottom of the page - it just sends you back to teststardoll.co.nr! The same happens when clicking the top bar.
Don't "Log In" on this fake StarDoll, or if you already did, change your password immediatly!
2. newstardollcheat.piczo.com
I laughed hard when I saw this one. Not only the person is showing that she is a hacker - "I will not tell you how to do it", "I'm not a hacker", and at the end of the video the account she used has rares all for $2, of course, from hacking others. Does she think we were born yesterday, or what? Here are some other reasons that show you this is all a lie:
- First, the video is noticeably photoshopped. The "Buy this item - $0" is from the Kitsch Garlands at the Minishop.
- Second, the "Superstar Only" box. Did you notice that all the hackers say their cheats work only for Superstars?
- The "cheat" is actually, the loophole (created by fakeshake3 and Hifof back in 2008), that doesn't work anymore.
The owner of the site is fiwee101. Please report her! [UPDATE: She might not be the owner, but a hacked account]
[Picture from Stardoll Fashion Forward]
As said in Stardoll Fashion Forward, this new hacking website doesn't need your password and username to hack you! If you are logged into Stardoll when visiting the link, it'll hack you! According to SFF, it's called "auto-hack". The owner can access not only your password, but your country, age and e-mail. Most of us use the same e-mail and password we have on Stardoll for websites such as Facebook or Myspace, so the hacker can easily see your personal info, including pictures and even the street where you live!
The hacker can easily change your e-mail and password, so the chances you'll get your account back are very small. The accounts already hacked are mamzelle-mc, lizzie1393*, bobbypin11*, and pamiiiiiiiii. *This users are currently hacked, so do not trust them!
If you get the message above, from ANYONE, even your best friend, BLOCK THEM and contact Stardoll telling them the link. stardollmoney.co.nr and teststardoll.co.nr are both phishing websites and Stardoll can give them a lawsuit to the person who created it.
Plus, phishing websites can download trojan horses, minor viruses or bugs into your PC, so if you get a message from your antivirus or Parental Controls, do not enter into the website!
Another co.nr hacking site is alive: stardolladmin.co.nr
Again, do NOT enter while you're logged in Stardoll, Wordpress, Blogger etc, because co.nr sites install a keystroke that get your password before you can say "I was hacked!".
This time, you'll get a dollmail from a hacked account. It says:
"Hey! Have you or anyone you know been hacked recently? I was, and I found out a way to get revenge - because Stardoll never do anything about it!
I asked around, and my good friend told me how to get to the place that Stardoll staff log in. I logged in there, and it was totally different!
All I had to do was go to the hacker's suite, right click on the clothes she stole, and click move, and they appeared in my suite!
I'd love to see her face when she sees they're gone!!I will tell you how to do it, but please only use it to get clothes back that were stolen from you!
The site is stardolladmin.co.nr but please only use it for a good cause. For me it didn’t work straight away, I had to go back in about 30 minutes."
Yeah, right.
First, we all know that co.nr/Piczo sites are never ever used by professionals, so the chances this site is used by the Stardoll Staff are 0.
Second, the cheat described on the dollmail is the Loophole, by fact we all know it doesn't work anymore, and if it really works, who would want to tell? Remember what happened to Teale? Yup, she was deleted after the Loophole scandal.
And yeah, "it didn't work straight away".
bijouenforce is already hacked, don't be the next one!
[Thank you Stardoll's Most Wanted for the info]
This are the best examples of Piczo/co.nr sites you should never fall for. If you know any other, please say it on comments.
Stay safe!

CAREFUL: Hacker
My friend mica0011 was hacked out of her Scuba, and according to Gossip-Stardoll, Pretty-megan9 and Jose-io were hacked out of their rares too!
laloa doesn't ask for your password and scams; she just takes your rares away!
DON'T ENTER HER SUITE, don't contact her! For the sake of your rares! LOL.
xx
P.S: I got internet btw, I just won't be on Stardoll and blogger that much.
